Wilshire Hospice has been serving the community since 1998. Patients and their loved ones often comment on how they wished they’d started hospice services sooner. Our vision is to provide patients and their families with comprehensive, compassionate care that relieves undue suffering and pain from the moment of their diagnosis. We believe everyone has the right to die pain-free and with dignity.
Our team oriented approach to expert medical care, pain management and emotional and spiritual support is specifically designed around the patient’s needs and wishes. This includes bereavement services, therapeutic musicians, a full clinical team, spiritual counselors and volunteer-based companionship and help. Learn more at our website.
CENTER FOR GRIEF, EDUCATION & HEALING
Dia de los Muertos benefits and is directly presented by Wilshire Hospice's bereavement team and hospice staff. Our Bereavement Team is here to provide family members with a safe, accepting environment for the expression of feelings and thoughts. Wilshire Hospice Center for Grief Education and Healing is able to offer such assistance to our patients and their families. We offer grief assistance for the Hospice patient while he/she progresses through the last stage of life. Additionally, we provide help for the family during the Hospice experience and for at least thirteen months following the passing of their loved one.
