DIA DE LOS MUERTOS 2020 WEEK OF EVENT SCHEDULE
Celebrate Día de Los Muertos all week long this year! The 7th Annual Día de Los Muertos in Mission Plaza will be held on the last week of October, beginning with a traditional processional on Friday October 23, 2020. The main event is on Saturday, October 24, 2020 between 10am-3pm. The day will begin with a processional at 10am, followed by a festive, family-friendly main event with decorated altars, traditional dances, mariachi music, poets, artists and sellers, art and crafts activities, educational talks, costume contests, Mexican food and beverages, decorating of sugar skulls (and more) at the San Luis Obispo Museum of Art.

Beginning at Humankind Fair Trade at 6pm
November 1st marks the official "Day of the Dead". We honor this day by having a traditional Día de los Muertos procession, in both English and Spanish, through Downtown San Luis Obispo. Traditional costumes and pictures of loved ones encouraged.

Saturday mornings festival begins with a traditional procession at Mission Plaza in San Luis Obispo. There will be a large procession from the Mission Plaza, through the dogleg, to the traditional altar back at the Mission Plaza. Traditional costumes and pictures of loved ones encouraged.
